Description

You will bridge business needs and technology to drive development and implementation of solutions across the entire credit lifecycle. The role focuses on translating credit and lending problems into clear business requirements and specifications while improving risk management, operational efficiency, and the colleague experience through data, automation, and AI-enabled advancements.

Responsibilities

  • Lead structured discovery sessions with business stakeholders, subject matter experts, product owners, data specialists, and engineering teams
  • Translate credit and lending problems into business requirements, functional specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process models
  • Define and document current-state and target-state processes across origination, analysis, decisioning, monitoring, and reporting
  • Identify opportunities for technology, data, automation, and AI solutions to enhance risk management and operational performance
  • Collaborate with software engineers, data specialists, and product owners to create practical, detailed requirements for technology and data-enabled solutions
  • Contribute to solution evaluation, rollout readiness, and continuous improvement, including AI capabilities
  • Analyze data flows, business rules, controls, and dependencies; validate proposed solutions with technical teams
  • Act as a senior point of contact between business and technology teams, resolving ambiguities and supporting informed decision-making
  • Challenge requirements constructively and assess options and trade-offs
  • Support Agile practices via backlog management, refinement, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
  • Facilitate solution validation, user acceptance testing, implementation, and adoption processes
  • Ensure solutions adhere to internal control standards, data governance, security, and regulatory obligations

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience as an IT Business Analyst in financial services
  • Strong knowledge of credit risk and lending processes
  • Practical understanding of the entire credit lifecycle (origination, analysis, decisioning, monitoring, reporting)
  • Proven experience delivering technology, data, automation, or AI-enabled solutions from problem framing to implementation
  • Experience collaborating with software engineering and data teams on complex data flows, system integrations, or analytics solutions
  • Excellent requirements engineering skills (interviews, workshops, process modeling, data analysis, user stories, acceptance criteria, specifications)
  • Ability to comprehend complex business rules and data dependencies and communicate them clearly across teams
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
  • Outstanding communication, facilitation, negotiation, and stakeholder management capabilities
  • Hands-on Agile experience in dynamic, multidisciplinary environments
  • Proactive ownership from discovery through delivery
  • Fluent English for technical and business communication
  • Existing legal right to work in the European Union
