Description

You will build, operate, and continuously improve automated platform components, helping ensure customer-critical systems run reliably, securely, and with high stability and quality. The role includes designing maintainable IT architectures for complex environments and driving DevOps culture through automation and smart (AI) solutions. You will advise projects and clients on current DevOps technologies and processes and share knowledge via technical workshops.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the creation, operation, and further development of automated platform components for customers

  • Design sustainable, maintainable IT architectures for complex IT landscapes and ensure reliable operation of business-critical systems

  • Own DevOps quality, stability, and security for customer environments

  • Simplify day-to-day workflows by creating smart, automated (AI) solutions (in agile Scrum or platform teams)

  • Proactively identify customer needs and opportunities and implement them with the team

  • Consult projects and customers on relevant, current DevOps technologies and processes

  • Share knowledge through technical workshops and engage with community-driven insights

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in DevOps, cloud, and software development from implementation through production operations

  • Technical expertise in selected DevOps areas; experience building and operating Sovereign AI platforms preferred

  • Strong cloud knowledge (STACKIT, Azure, AWS, or GCP)

  • Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Ansible, and Jenkins

  • Practical CI/CD pipeline experience (e.g., GitLab), plus security, system, and networking fundamentals

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; customer-oriented mindset and confident behavior

  • Team-oriented work style

  • Willingness for project-based travel; excellent German and English skills
