Description

Co-create and deliver a project to replace the IT system supporting the custodian function for investment funds. You will analyze, define, and prioritize business requirements, ensure correct fund valuation and asset checks, and support testing, data migration, and production go-live. You will also improve operational tools, including VBA-based solutions, and manage delivery requests in Jira.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze, define, prioritize business requirements; collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and system vendors.
  • Oversee fund valuation and verify correctness of asset valuations.
  • Participate in agreement and reconciliation processes for fund accounts.
  • Prepare, update, and maintain project and operational documentation.
  • Develop and modify operational support tools, including VBA-based solutions.
  • Create test scenarios, run business tests (UAT), and support solution acceptance.
  • Participate in data migration, including mapping data structures and validating data quality.
  • Manage and monitor tickets in Jira.
  • Prepare go-live checklists and support system stabilization after launch.
  • Ensure compliance of the delivered solution with business requirements and handle project change requests.
  • Collaborate with fund accounting, custody, transfer agent, reporting, and valuation system teams.

Requirements

  • Experience as a Business Analyst, System Analyst, or Investment Fund Valuation Specialist.
  • Experience in implementation or migration projects for investment funds, fund accounting, or the custody function.
  • Knowledge of banking, capital markets, asset management, custody, fund administration, or post-trade processes.
  • Practical experience collecting and documenting business requirements and modeling processes.
  • Experience with UAT and solution acceptance processes.
  • Ability to understand complex data flows and system integrations.
  • Strong communication skills with both business and IT teams.
  • Independent, proactive work style and strong organization in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and handle changing priorities.
  • Advanced Polish and English at least B2.
  • Knowledge of custody responsibilities, especially investment limit controls, asset monitoring, reconciliations, and fund valuation confirmation.
  • (Preferred) Experience in custody services or investment fund accounting.
  • (Preferred) Participation in data migration projects.
  • (Preferred) Knowledge of capital-market communication/reporting standards (e.g., SWIFT MT940, transfer agent reports, transaction confirmations).
  • (Preferred) Collaboration with vendors of custody/fund systems.
  • (Preferred) VBA knowledge and experience developing tools supporting operational processes.
