Description

You will work on a large-scale project for an EU institution, supporting end-to-end business analysis for software delivery. The role involves eliciting and analyzing business needs, modeling business processes/capabilities/data, and maintaining requirements/user stories throughout the solution lifecycle. You will also support solution design, testing, quality assurance, and change management, with focus on ERP and enterprise platforms.

Responsibilities

• Model and document value chains/streams, business processes, roles, capabilities, and data

• Elicit and analyze business needs, requirements, and user stories

• Support business experts and product owners in defining requirements and software development

• Maintain and track requirements/user stories across the system lifecycle

• Translate business, user, and technical needs into business requirements specifications

• Map business goals, benefits, priorities, components, and system features

• Analyze existing systems and identify options for potential solutions

• Prepare business cases and feasibility studies

• Contribute to systems design, testing, quality assurance, and change management

• Design, validate, and test business processes to improve process excellence

• Drive continuous business process improvement initiatives with a holistic approach

• Coach staff on upcoming changes and ensure training plans are in place

• Collaborate with owners of end-to-end processes to continually seek process improvements

• Identify opportunities to improve customer service, reduce costs, and increase revenue

• Communicate objectives, business cases, requirements, and scope to stakeholders

• Quantitatively analyze business processes (cost-benefit and what-if analysis)

• Plan and implement organizational changes and process changes

• Implement performance monitoring systems for business processes

• Support business users with strategic and tactical planning (e.g., sector strategies, implementation plans)

• Support definition of transition roadmaps for business architectures

Requirements

• Higher education

• At least 5 years of IT experience; at least 3 years in a similar Business Analyst position

• English B2/C1

• At least 1 full software solution lifecycle completed as a BA

• At least 1 certificate: CCBA (or equivalent) or Certified UML Professional (foundation) or BPM 2 Fundamental (or equivalent), recognized and accepted by the Contracting Authority

• BA experience on a large-scale project (>1 year; >€1M budget) deploying an enterprise resource planning system

• Experience analyzing business processes: Logistics, Warehouse Management, Asset Management, Fleet Management, Financial Management, Legal, HR, Project Management

• Experience with business analysis for Microsoft capabilities: SharePoint 2019, SharePoint Subscription Edition, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Power Automate, Power Apps, Dataverse

• Experience with business analysis for ServiceNow capabilities (custom apps and standard modules): Enterprise Assets Management, Strategic Portfolio Management, Customer Service Management (on-prem and cloud)

• Strong analytical and communication skills; ability to create and maintain analytical and project documentation
