Description

The Business Analyst serves as an intermediary between stakeholders and the assigned line of business, supporting business client advocacy across the solution development lifecycle. The role performs basic to intermediate analysis to identify business issues, develop business cases, and contribute to detailed solution requirements. It also monitors implementation outcomes, supports testing issue resolution, and applies disciplined change management while ensuring compliance.

Responsibilities

• Advocate for business clients across initiation, analysis, development, testing, implementation, and post-implementation follow-up

• Identify core business issues and map possible solutions with business clients

• Develop a business case defining the need, method, and benefits of proposed solutions

• Conduct basic analysis to support detailed solution requirements

• Refine solution design, methods, and outcomes with the development team

• Monitor progress to ensure the solution meets the requirement document

• Support resolution of conflicts caused by technical deviations from agreed requirements

• Coordinate with the testing team to ensure issues are identified and resolved prior to rollout

• Monitor and report user usage during implementation; recommend modifications when necessary

• Ensure compliance with risk management programs, rules and regulations, and cybersecurity practices; support process improvements

• Apply disciplined change management practices

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Information Systems, or a related field

• OR High School Diploma or GED and 4 years of related experience
