Description

You will help deliver a new platform by replacing four legacy enterprise systems. The role focuses on bridging business and technology: discovery with stakeholders, process mapping/modeling, mining legacy systems, and defining data flows, transformation logic, and integration contracts. You’ll also refine user stories/acceptance criteria and support QA and UAT.

Responsibilities

  • Run discovery workshops and stakeholder interviews with the Designer and Product Owner

  • Map AS-IS processes (including poorly documented ones)

  • Mine legacy systems to surface real pain points

  • Model TO-BE processes in BPMN 2.0

  • Create source-to-target data mappings, and define data flows and transformation logic across integrations

  • Define interface specifications and contribute to API and event contract design

  • Validate technical feasibility and challenge designs that don’t fit the process

  • Refine user stories and acceptance criteria (including edge cases and failure paths)

  • Validate business logic in working increments and keep documentation current

  • Support QA with test scenarios and assist with UAT

Requirements

  • 3+ years as a Technical/IT/System Business Analyst on complex information systems

  • Working-level SQL (joins across tables, data profiling, reconciling counts across systems)

  • Experience defining interface specifications (operations, payloads, error states, event structures)

  • Experience producing data models (logical models, ER diagrams, entity/attribute definitions, source-to-target mappings)

  • Proven use of AI tools as a core part of analysis work

  • Agile delivery experience (Scrum)

  • English B2+ (written and spoken)
