Description

The Mechanical Product Design Engineer drives execution of new and duplicate power transmission projects by applying mechanical engineering principles, analytical skills, and cross-functional collaboration. The role supports design, evaluation, and delivery of industrial power transmission products while ensuring compliance with technical standards and assisting manufacturing teams and customers with technical expertise.

Responsibilities

• Execute design, analysis, and evaluation activities for assigned power transmission projects in line with industry regulations and internal standards.
• Apply engineering principles, calculations, and methods to design a range of industrial power transmission products across multiple industries.
• Develop new power transmission solutions guided by team settings or engineering design precedents.
• Collaborate with engineers and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution.
• Communicate deadlines, technical needs, risks, and present engineering outcomes effectively.
• Deliver engineering designs and bills of materials (BOM) on time and with high quality as part of a cross-functional team.
• Support manufacturing teams during product build to ensure design intent is met.
• Provide technical expertise to customers and address project-related questions.
