Description

Lead advanced manufacturing engineering programs to scale operations across a multi-site campus, driving growth through new product development and product transfers. Use data analysis and sound engineering principles to build a strategic funnel of process improvements, maintenance programs, and cost savings. Ensure medical device compliance through leadership of design control and regulatory oversight.

Responsibilities

• Attract, develop, retain, and engage top talent; mentor teams to solve abstract technical, business, and personnel problems

• Lead high-complexity projects and initiatives, including planning, budgeting, staffing, and delivery of goals

• Create a cross-functional 3–5 year improvement road map by evaluating strategic improvement opportunities

• Drive financial accountability (cost center budget creation, projections, tracking) and contribute to R&D budget projections

• Mentor Voice of Customer and customer-centric design best practices; may lead Voice of Customer activities

• Collaborate with customers and key opinion leaders (KOLs) to develop technical strategies aligned to clinical and business needs

• Lead financial/business modeling and strategy execution for product segments

• Lead programs to demonstrate compliance with applicable regulatory requirements and provide direction on design controls

• Review and approve (or delegate) technical documentation and deliverables across multiple programs
