Description

Shape tools, interfaces, and experiences that support the development and deployment of autonomous driving technology. Work at the intersection of product design, autonomy, simulation, developer tooling, and operational tooling—translating complex technical systems into intuitive user experiences for expert users. Design across 2D, 3D/spatial workflows, data visualization, and internal systems used to understand, debug, evaluate, and improve performance.

Responsibilities

• Turn complex technical systems into intuitive, elegant user experiences
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and operators
• Design interfaces for expert users and technical workflows
• Create interaction, visual design, and prototyping artifacts across 2D and 3D/spatial contexts
• Produce clear specifications that help engineering teams build effectively
• Communicate design rationale across functions through strong storytelling

Requirements

• Portfolio demonstrating strong product design craft and systems thinking
• Experience designing technical products or developer/enterprise tools for expert users
• Hands-on experience with spatial, simulation, mapping, robotics, gaming, AR/VR, automotive, or visualization design
• Comfort designing for expert users and technical workflows
• Ability to move between product strategy, information architecture, interaction design, visual design, and prototyping
• Strong proficiency in Figma and modern design workflows; ability to produce engineering-ready specs
• Ability to work with ambiguity and incomplete information
• Strong communication and storytelling skills; can explain design rationale to engineering, product, and leadership
• Practical, high-quality execution with strong judgment and low ego
