Description

Drive process optimization, business analysis, automation, and technology innovation for Accounting Operations. Build AI-enabled, RPA, and workflow automation solutions powered by advanced analytics and modern data technologies, partnering with enterprise teams to deliver scalable improvements. Provide actionable analytics and reporting to Accounting Operations leadership while supporting governance, documentation, and root-cause-driven performance improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Review, analyze, and optimize accounting operations processes to improve automation, efficiency, risk reduction, and controls.
  • Design, develop, and support AI-enabled solutions and workflow automation to improve operational effectiveness and productivity.
  • Use tools such as Copilot, Claude, Alteryx, Python, SQL, and Power Platform to acquire, transform, automate, and analyze complex business data.
  • Develop advanced analytics, dashboards, and reporting to provide actionable insights.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in process improvement, automation, data governance, and emerging technologies.
  • Lead and participate in operational transformation and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Partner across Accounting, Finance, Technology, and Compliance to define requirements and deliver technology-driven solutions.
  • Evaluate emerging AI, machine learning, and intelligent automation opportunities aligned to business objectives.
  • Document business processes, automation solutions, and technical requirements for scalability, sustainability, and appropriate controls.
  • Perform root cause analyses and deliver data-driven recommendations.
  • Support enterprise initiatives through analytics, automation design, testing, implementation, and change adoption.
  • Identify innovative approaches that improve customer experience and business outcomes.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, business operations, analytics, automation, or related areas
  • Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Data analytics proficiency managing data with SQL
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including root cause analysis
  • Ability to translate business requirements into analytical, automation, and technology solutions
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Knowledge of data management, process mapping, workflow design, and operational controls
  • Ability to independently lead workstreams and influence outcomes across teams
