Description

Design and lead end-to-end enterprise architecture for future solutions. Translate business outcomes into clear requirements and key use cases, create current-state vs target-state transition roadmaps, and guide delivery teams through architectural, technical, and organizational challenges. Support pre-sales, create architecture documents (including prototypes/POCs), and oversee implementation through go-live.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to define solution requirements, use cases, and measurable outcomes (KPIs/OKRs)

• Participate in enterprise governance processes (e.g., ARB) with large-scale enterprises

• Drive pre-sale activities including RFP processing, proposal development, and client communication

• Analyze existing applications and define asset migration, transformation, and automation roadmaps

• Assess the financial implications of solution decision options

• Design prototypes and proof of concepts; produce detailed architecture documentation

• Set unified strategy for architecture governance, automation, security, implementation, and operations

• Provide guidance on cloud, hybrid, and on-premises solution design and cost-control best practices

• Conduct architecture reviews/audits and deliver reports

• Run onsite client meetings, workshops, and governance events (often with travel)

• Oversee solution implementation from project requirements through go-live

• Provide technical support and oversee engineering efforts

• Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices

Requirements

• Define business outcomes using KPIs/OKRs and connect them to epics/features for benefits realization

• Create current-state vs target-state architectures and multi-quarter transition roadmaps

• Practical understanding of software architecture patterns, solution architecture design methods, and integration/development practices

• Experience across the software development life cycle using processes such as Agile, Scrum, or RUP

• Proficiency designing deployment and automation: CI/CD, security automation (SAST/DAST), and IT operations automation (AIOps)

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proactive leadership in architecture engagement

• Excellent communication and ability to present technical concepts to business audiences

• Ability to collaborate with diverse technical and business stakeholders

• Track record as a technical advisor guiding clients on what to do and what to avoid

• Ability to absorb and reuse business domain knowledge across multiple domains

• Fluency in English

• Hands-on development experience with Java, .NET, or Python (full stack is a plus)

• Expertise with libraries/frameworks and patterns in specific technology stacks

• Hands-on experience delivering web, mobile, and/or desktop solutions

• Proven cloud technologies knowledge and migration experience, including cloud-native solutions on Azure, AWS, or GCP

• Microservice architecture patterns, APIs, integration, and containerization (plus)

• Hands-on GenAI solution design and development (advantage) and willingness to learn GenAI innovations

• Production experience in domains such as Financial Services, Retail, Life Sciences, or Healthcare

• Understanding of Digital/IT transformation and ability to contribute to transformation efforts

• Understanding of Business Architecture concepts and familiarity with BizBoK/TOGAF best practices

• At least 8 years of hands-on experience architecting large software systems
