Description

Lead end-to-end enterprise architecture and solution design by partnering with business stakeholders and customers to clarify requirements, define use cases, and build transition roadmaps. Guide delivery teams through architecture governance, reviews/audits, prototyping/PoCs, and implementation oversight from requirements to go-live across cloud, hybrid, and on-prem solutions. Act as a technical advisor during pre-sales (RFPs, proposals, client communication) and continuously improve your approach using industry best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify unambiguous solution requirements and key use cases
  • Participate in large-scale enterprise governance processes (e.g., ARB)
  • Support pre-sales: RFP processing, proposal development, and early client communication
  • Guide clients through architectural, technical, and organizational challenges
  • Analyze existing applications and IT services; develop roadmaps for migration, transformation, and automation
  • Assess financial implications of decision options
  • Design prototypes and proof of concepts; create detailed architecture documents
  • Develop a unified strategy for architecture governance, automation, security, implementation, and operations
  • Provide technical guidance on cloud, hybrid, and on-prem solutions design and cost control best practices
  • Conduct architecture reviews/audits and produce reports
  • Lead client meetings, workshops, and governance events (often involving travel)
  • Oversee implementation from project requirements to go-live
  • Provide technical support and oversee engineering efforts
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices

Requirements

  • 8+ years of hands-on experience in architecture of large software systems
  • Proficiency defining business outcomes, KPIs/OKRs, and benefits realization linked to epics/features
  • Ability to create current-state vs target-state architecture and multi-quarter transition roadmaps
  • Practical understanding of software architecture patterns, solution architecture design methods, and integration/development practices
  • Experience across the full SDLC using methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, RUP, etc.
  • Proficiency designing deployment and automation: CI/CD, security automation (SAST/DAST), and IT operations automation (AIOps)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; technologist mindset with fast deep-dives and knowledge transfer
  • Proactive leadership in architecture engagement
  • Excellent communication skills; present technical concepts in a business-friendly way
  • Ability to collaborate with both technical and business stakeholders
  • Proven track record as a technical advisor on what to do and what to avoid
  • Ability to process, absorb, retain, and reuse business domain knowledge
  • Fluency in English
  • Solid development experience with at least one: Java, .NET, Python (full stack is a plus)
  • Expertise with libraries/frameworks/patterns in specific technology stacks
  • Hands-on development experience across web/mobile/desktop solutions
  • Knowledge of cloud technologies and cloud migration strategies; cloud-native experience (Azure/AWS/GCP)
  • Microservice architecture patterns, APIs, integration, and containerization knowledge is a plus
  • GenAI solution design/development experience is an advantage; willingness to learn GenAI novelties is required
  • Production experience in domains such as Financial Services, Retail, Life Sciences & Healthcare
  • Understanding of Digital/IT Transformation concepts
  • Knowledge of Business Architecture concepts and BizBoK/TOGAF best practices
