Description

Design and deliver enterprise-grade, high-performance, mission-critical technology solutions aligned to business objectives. Serve as a subject matter expert for technology decisions and provide technical direction across public-facing and internal systems. Translate business requirements into architectural artefacts and lead solution design, reviews, estimation, and troubleshooting while supporting stakeholders with planning, risk, and delivery guidance.

Responsibilities

• Lead structured technical analysis and solution design using architectural standards and recognized design patterns

• Maintain Target Technical Architecture and provide feedback on architectural gaps

• Produce architectural documentation (diagrams, functional specifications, technical requirements)

• Provide technical leadership to development teams and systems analysts (design, work package breakdown, effort estimation, code/design reviews, troubleshooting support)

• Support stakeholders with timeline, resource, and cost estimation, progress reporting, and technical guidance

• Manage technical risks (monitor, assess, mitigate)

• Contribute to Solutions Architecture and Technical Solutions Delivery team KPIs and performance objectives

• Manage third-party delivery partners (estimate validation, documentation/deliverable reviews, issue tracking, performance feedback)

• Lead technology selection and make strategic recommendations

Requirements

• Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise-grade, high-performance, mission-critical applications

• Experience as a technology SME with the ability to provide technical leadership

• Ability to translate business requirements into architecture artefacts and documentation

• Experience refining and maintaining Target Technical Architecture

• Experience leading technical design reviews, estimations, and troubleshooting support

• Strong cloud-native architecture knowledge and hands-on experience

• Experience with relational databases and NoSQL databases

• Full-stack application design experience across modern front-end and back-end technologies

• Expertise in microservices, integration, and event/message-based architectures

• Experience with workflow automation and low-code/no-code platforms

• Strong understanding of application security and secure solution design principles

• Experience working with Linux operating systems

• DevOps experience including CI/CD, source control, and infrastructure automation

• Ability to identify architectural gaps and advise Enterprise/Solutions/Business Architects

• Excellent communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders

• Experience managing third-party delivery partners
