Description

Lead and manage Data & Analytics consulting engagements for Life Sciences customers—from discovering opportunities and shaping information strategies to ensuring actionable, well-documented delivery plans. Partner with business and IT stakeholders to design best-in-class data platforms and drive data-driven transformation through presales and delivery leadership.

Responsibilities

• Engage customer business stakeholders to discover Data & Analytics opportunities.
• Lead and challenge teams and customers to create data strategies and solutions.
• Map customer vision and requirements to specific products and components.
• Act as a data advocate and remove business, technical, and political roadblocks.
• Mentor and coach clients and team members on data & analytics best practices.
• Manage consulting engagements, overall delivery, and output quality; ensure clean handover to implementation.
• Assemble teams to deliver MVPs and work with account managers on customer relationships.
• Design and drive stakeholder workshops and interviews to define and prioritize strategic and immediate needs.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects and Technical Leads to design solutions that drive business value.
• Support proposals and pitches; respond to RFxs, create proposals, and present them.
• Own and drive Data & Analytics presales activities in the Healthcare vertical.

Requirements

• 7+ years of total experience in data and analytics.
• 3+ years in management, delivery, consulting, or presales.
• 5+ years in Life Sciences or working with Life Sciences clients.
• Knowledge of Life Sciences (clinical trials, R&D, commercial, regulatory & compliance, etc.).
• Experience working with senior business and IT stakeholders and end users.
• Ability to facilitate and drive strategy discussions and influence solution design.
• Solid knowledge of the data and analytics landscape and recent trends.
• Experience with end-to-end data and analytics delivery (data lake, DWH, advanced analytics, BI/reporting).
• Excellent communication skills; ability to manage expectations and present to senior stakeholders.
• Experience framing presales opportunities into customer engagements.
• Primary focus in one or more areas: Cloud Data Platforms, BI, Data Warehousing, Data Lakes, Data Science, Predictive Analytics.
• Experience managing medium to large-scale software/technology initiatives.
• Interest in Data & Analytics; willingness to expand skills as new technology trends emerge.
