Description

Lead data and analytics consulting engagements for Life Sciences customers to create information strategies, design best-in-class data platforms, and enable data-driven enterprise transformation. Engage senior business and IT stakeholders, facilitate workshops and interviews, and ensure strategies are actionable and well documented for implementation handover. Manage delivery quality and presales activities, including proposals and RFX responses.

Responsibilities

• Discover data and analytics opportunities with customer business stakeholders
• Lead and challenge teams and customers to create data strategies and solutions
• Map customer vision and requirements to consulting products and components
• Remove business, technical, and political roadblocks; act as a data advocate
• Mentor clients and team members in data and analytics best practices
• Manage consulting engagements, delivery, and quality of outputs
• Assemble teams to deliver MVPs and drive execution
• Design solutions with Solution Architects and Technical Leads
• Build and manage customer relationships with account managers
• Drive stakeholder workshops and interviews to define and prioritize needs
• Support business development with proposals and pitches; respond to RFxs
• Own and drive data and analytics presales in the Healthcare vertical

Requirements

• 7+ years total experience in data and analytics
• 3+ years in management, delivery, consulting, or presales roles
• 5+ years in Life Sciences industry or working with Life Sciences clients
• Knowledge of one or more Life Sciences areas (e.g., clinical trials, R&D, commercial, regulatory and compliance)
• Experience working with senior business and IT stakeholders plus end-users
• Ability to facilitate and drive strategy discussions and influence solution design
• Strong knowledge of the data and analytics landscape and recent trends
• End-to-end delivery experience in data & analytics (data lake, DWH, advanced analytics, BI/reporting)
• Strong communication and presentation skills for senior stakeholders
• Ability to frame presales opportunities into customer engagements
• Career focus in one or more areas: Cloud Data Platforms, BI, Data Warehousing, Data Lakes, Data Science, Predictive Analytics
• Experience managing medium to large-scale software/technology initiatives
