Description

Lead consulting engagements that help customers create information strategies, design best-in-class data platforms, and drive data-driven transformation. Engage stakeholders to discover Data & Analytics opportunities, translate customer vision into actionable strategies, and manage delivery quality and consulting outputs. Own presales activities in the Healthcare vertical, including RFx responses, proposals, and presentations.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customer business stakeholders to identify Data & Analytics opportunities

• Lead and challenge teams and customers to create data strategies and solutions

• Map customer vision and requirements to products and platform components

• Remove business, technical, and political roadblocks; act as a data advocate

• Mentor and coach clients and team members on data & analytics best practices

• Manage consulting engagements, overall delivery, and quality of outputs

• Ensure strategy is actionable and documented for a clean handover to implementation

• Assemble teams of analysts and engineers to deliver MVPs

• Build and manage customer relationships with account managers

• Design and run stakeholder workshops and interviews to define and prioritize needs

• Collaborate with Solution Architects and Technical Leads to design solutions

• Support business development with proposals and pitches

• Respond to RFxs, create and present proposals to potential clients

• Own and drive Data & Analytics presales activities in the Healthcare vertical

Requirements

• 7+ years of total experience in data and analytics

• 3+ years in management, delivery, consulting, or presales

• 5+ years in Life Science industry or working with Life Science clients

• Knowledge of one or more Life Science areas (clinical trials, R&D, commercial, regulatory & compliance, etc.)

• Experience working with senior business and IT stakeholders and end-users

• Ability to facilitate and drive strategy discussions

• Ability to participate in and influence solution design discussions

• Solid knowledge of the data and analytics landscape and recent trends

• End-to-end delivery experience for data & analytics projects (data lake, DWH, advanced analytics solutions, BI/reporting)

• Excellent communication skills and strong presentation ability

• Ability to manage customer expectations and present deliverables to senior stakeholders

• Ability to frame presales opportunities into customer engagement

• Primary career focus on one or more areas: Cloud Data Platforms, BI, Data Warehousing, Data Lakes, Data Science, Predictive Analytics

• Experience managing medium to large-scale software/technology initiatives

• Keen interest in and passion for the Data & Analytics space; willingness to learn emerging trends
