Description

Support healthcare pharmacy benefits operations by monitoring data quality and validating that automated workflows behave as expected. Conduct root-cause analysis on data and system issues using SQL and analytics in Databricks, with hands-on experience in eligibility, claims, and accumulators.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to customers by troubleshooting and handling escalations.
• Monitor inbound and outbound file exchanges, including file receipt, processing, and outbound file generation.
• Monitor data quality, eligibility, and accumulator performance for assigned vendors and clients.
• Use SQL to retrieve, update, and analyze data in relational databases.
• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, investigate issues, and determine root causes.
• Identify issues, risks, and emerging trends across assigned workflows; develop mitigation plans aligned to KPIs.
• Recommend technical solutions and communicate requirements to technical teams.
• Ensure data is accurate, secure, and handled per organizational policies and applicable regulations.
• Create and maintain documentation for data processing workflows, code, analysis procedures, and issue-resolution steps.
• Document and track support cases in the knowledge management system.
• Support testing for new configurations and validate their impact on data processing and system behavior.
• Identify operational improvements and provide actionable feedback to internal teams.
• Contribute technical insights to team meetings and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional experience in a related field.
• Mandatory healthcare domain experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Moderate to advanced SQL proficiency.
• Experience reviewing and understanding complex Python notebooks.
• Strong data analysis skills with large datasets.
• Hands-on knowledge of medical and pharmacy claims processing, eligibility structures, and accumulators.
• Experience working with regulated data and compliance requirements (GDPR, HIPAA, PHI, PII).
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate, reliable results.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for root-cause investigation and solution development.
