Description

Lead data & analytics consulting engagements for Healthcare/Life Sciences clients, helping them create information strategies, design best-in-class data platforms, and enable data-driven transformation. Engage with stakeholders to define and prioritize strategic and immediate needs, manage delivery quality, and ensure strategies are actionable and documented for implementation. Own presales activities, including RFxs, proposals, and pitches, and assemble teams to deliver MVPs.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customer business stakeholders to discover Data & Analytics opportunities
• Lead and challenge teams and customers to create data strategies and solutions
• Map customer vision and requirements to products and components
• Act as a data advocate and remove business, technical, and political roadblocks
• Mentor and coach clients and team members in data & analytics best practices
• Manage consulting engagements, overall delivery, and quality of output
• Ensure strategy is actionable and well documented for handover to implementation
• Assemble teams of analysts and engineers to deliver MVPs
• Work with account managers to build and manage customer relationships
• Facilitate stakeholder workshops and interviews to define and prioritize needs
• Collaborate with Solution Architects and Technical Leads to design solutions
• Support business development with proposals and pitches
• Respond to RFxs, create proposals, and present them to potential clients
• Own and drive Data & Analytics presales activities in the Healthcare vertical

Requirements

• 7+ years of total experience in data and analytics
• 3+ years in management, delivery, consulting, or presales roles
• 5+ years in Life Sciences or working with Life Sciences clients
• Knowledge of Life Sciences areas such as clinical trials, R&D, commercial, regulatory, and compliance
• Experience working with senior business and IT stakeholders and end-users
• Ability to facilitate and drive strategy discussions
• Ability to participate in and influence solution design discussions
• Solid knowledge of the data and analytics landscape and recent trends
• Experience delivering end-to-end data & analytics projects (data lake, DWH, advanced analytics, BI/reporting)
• Excellent communication skills and dynamic presenting
• Ability to manage customer expectations and present deliverables to senior stakeholders
• Ability to frame presales opportunities into customer engagements
• Primary focus on some or all of: Cloud Data Platforms, BI, Data Warehousing, Data Lakes, Data Science, Predictive Analytics
• Experience managing medium to large-scale software/technology initiatives
• Strong interest and passion for Data & Analytics
• Knowledge of Cloud, Data, Analytics, and Data Science technologies and trends
• Desire to learn and expand comfort zone with new technology trends
