Description

Lead data and analytics consulting engagements for Life Sciences customers—discovering opportunities, mapping business vision to products and components, and ensuring strategies are actionable and documented for implementation handover. You will manage consulting delivery and quality, assemble teams to deliver MVPs, and partner with solution architects and technical leads to design solutions that drive business value. You will also own presales activities in the Healthcare vertical, including stakeholder workshops, RFxs, proposals, and pitches.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customer business stakeholders to discover Data & Analytics opportunities

• Lead and challenge teams and customers to create data strategies and solutions

• Map customer vision and requirements to specific products and components

• Remove business, technical, and political roadblocks; act as a data advocate

• Mentor and coach clients and team members on data and analytics best practices

• Manage consulting engagements, overall delivery, and output quality

• Ensure strategies are actionable and well documented for implementation handover

• Assemble teams to deliver MVPs

• Work with account managers to build and manage customer relationships

• Drive stakeholder workshops and interviews to define and prioritize strategic and immediate needs

• Collaborate with Solution Architects and Technical Leads to design the solution

• Support business development with proposals and pitches

• Respond to RFxs, create proposals, and present them to prospective clients

• Own and drive Data & Analytics presales activities in Healthcare

Requirements

• 7+ years total experience in data and analytics domain

• 3+ years in management, delivery, consulting, or presales roles

• 5+ years in the Life Science industry or working with Life Science clients

• Knowledge of Life Sciences (clinical trials, R&D, commercial, regulatory/compliance, etc.)

• Experience working with senior business and IT stakeholders and end users

• Ability to facilitate and drive strategy discussions

• Ability to participate in and influence solution design discussions

• Solid knowledge of the data and analytics landscape and recent trends

• End-to-end data and analytics delivery experience (data lake, DWH, advanced analytics, BI/reporting)

• Excellent communication and presentation skills

• Ability to manage customer expectations and present deliverables to senior stakeholders

• Ability to frame presales opportunities into customer engagements

• Primary focus on one or more areas: Cloud Data Platforms, BI, Data Warehousing, Data Lakes, Data Science, Predictive Analytics

• Experience managing medium to large-scale software/technology initiatives
