Description

You will support the assessment of custom software solutions against BSI TR-03161 requirements, focusing on architecture, interfaces, dependencies, security, and delivery processes. The work includes reviewing and structuring technical documentation, performing gap analysis, and preparing audit-ready evidence and technical assessment artifacts. You will collaborate with auditors, developers, system administrators, and business representatives throughout the assessment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, maintain, and align technical documentation for assessed software applications

• Analyze and document complex software systems, software architectures, interfaces, dependencies, and data flows

• Review development processes, security requirements, and build/release/deployment procedures

• Support assessments based on BSI TR-03161 and comparable security requirements

• Prepare technical evidence, assessment artifacts, and audit-ready documentation

• Identify documentation and process gaps and coordinate remediation with stakeholders

• Collaborate with auditors, developers, system administrators, and business representatives during assessment activities

• Capture, analyze, and document business and technical requirements

• Create technical concepts and supporting materials for software assessment and development initiatives

• Analyze and structure existing technical documentation to ensure completeness and consistency

• Support analysis and coordination of custom software development projects when required

• Use SQL and relational database knowledge to support system analysis

• Work with Jira and Confluence for collaboration and ticketing

Requirements

• 3+ years of IT Analyst / Technical Business Analyst experience in analyzing and documenting complex software systems

• Strong understanding of software architecture, APIs, interfaces, system dependencies, and data flows

• Experience with BSI TR-03161 or comparable software security/compliance standards

• Knowledge of Secure Software Development and Application Security principles

• Practical experience with build, release, and deployment processes

• Ability to create technical concepts, assessment documentation, and auditable evidence packages

• Strong requirements engineering, analytical, and documentation skills

• Experience coordinating with auditors, developers, system administrators, and cross-functional stakeholders

• Excellent communication, moderation, and stakeholder management skills

• Strong analytical mindset with ability to quickly understand complex systems and technical environments

• SQL and relational database experience

• Hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence (or comparable tools)

• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in multidisciplinary teams

• Available primarily on-site in Dresden (partial remote after onboarding and agreement)

• English: Upper-Intermediate or above

• German: Upper-Intermediate or above
