Description

You will support clients by reviewing IT systems and IT-enabled processes, combining IT expertise with business acumen. The role includes conducting IT audits within annual financial statement audits, assessing IT-enabled business processes, and reviewing internal controls at outsourcing and IT service providers. You will also plan and execute audit-related sub-projects and migration audits.

Responsibilities

• Conduct IT audits as part of annual financial statement audits (e.g., data analysis, testing accounting-related internal controls, reviewing IT environments)

• Analyze and evaluate IT-enabled business processes regarding business efficiency, quality, potential risks, and compliance with internal and external requirements

• Review service-related internal control systems of outsourcing providers, IT service providers, and software vendors aligned with standards such as IDW PS 951, ISAE 3000, ISAE 3402, and the SOC suite (SOC1, SOC2)

• Perform project-based audits and migration audits

• Plan and implement parts of audit projects and near-audit services

Requirements

• At least 2 years of IT audit or IT advisory experience at an audit firm or comparable industry experience (e.g., IT compliance, CoBIT, ITIL, IT security)

• Completed degree in business informatics, business administration, or a comparable field with relevant focus areas (IT, accounting, auditing)

• Fluent German and English; additional languages are a plus

• Ideally initial audit-related certifications (e.g., CISA, CRISC, CISM, CIA) or willingness to pursue them

• Ability to apply IT knowledge together with business/finance skills in daily work
