Description

Own People & Workplace with full responsibility for the employee lifecycle (recruitment, onboarding, payroll, benefits, compliance, offboarding) and Workplace & Community (offices/work environment, community, events, wellbeing) across three jurisdictions and four work locations. Lead the function, including budget ownership and monthly business reviews for board/investors. Drive key initiatives such as HRIS transition and integration with Finance/payroll, grading and career ladders, engagement survey follow-up actions, annual compensation reviews, and AI-enabled automation of People processes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead People Operations, People Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, and Workplace & Community teams (about four teams; ~13 people) through their leads.
  • Manage the employee lifecycle from hiring and onboarding to offboarding, including payroll, benefits, and compliance.
  • Run Workplace & Community activities: offices/work environment, community, events, and wellbeing.
  • Own the P&W budget, monthly business review materials, and inputs for board/investors.
  • Lead change management tied to HRIS and Finance/payroll integration.
  • Introduce grading system and career ladders.
  • Execute engagement survey action plan.
  • Run annual payroll reviews and bonus/incentive program reviews.
  • Continuously refine the People & Workplace roadmap as business priorities evolve; guide AI automation with responsible rules.

Requirements

  • 8+ years in HR/People roles.
  • 2+ years of team leadership (ideally manager-of-managers).
  • Strong operational HR across the full spectrum: business partnering, hiring, employee lifecycle, HRIS, payroll, benefits, compliance.
  • Successfully implemented HR technology and automation end-to-end.
  • Experience in fast-growing environments or building new HR disciplines.
  • Proven change management skills without disrupting core operations.
  • Data-driven approach with ability to build and defend dashboards (e.g., Power BI).
  • Czech or Slovak and English fluency (both written and spoken).
  • Views AI as natural in modern HR; can identify meaningful use cases and set responsible team rules.
