Description

Lead the global brand vision and narrative, helping position the company as a distinctive brand across the AI and web data ecosystem. You will build and manage the brand team, drive category-defining campaigns, and partner with senior leadership on thought leadership and speaking opportunities. You’ll also align brand awareness with performance, collaborate on employer branding, and use data to prove brand impact.

Responsibilities

  • Define and orchestrate long-term brand vision and narrative that bridges web automation roots with the AI future
  • Establish “Actor” as an industry-standard term in the web automation/AI ecosystem
  • Build and lead the brand team and shift from ad-hoc activities to a cohesive, high-impact strategy
  • Conceptualize and create new categories; run bold campaigns for awareness and sentiment (community challenges, partnership announcements, out-of-home, digital PR)
  • Act as a strategic partner to senior leadership on thought leadership narrative and high-leverage speaking opportunities (podcasts, panels, press)
  • Synchronize brand awareness campaigns with performance acquisition and ensure consistent messaging across touchpoints
  • Collaborate with PeopleOps on employer branding
  • Use data to measure success (share of voice, sentiment analysis, direct traffic lift, organic search volume)

Requirements

  • 5+ years of brand marketing experience, ideally in a technology company focused on software developers and B2B SaaS/PaaS
  • US market experience
  • Proven track record building and managing high-performing teams
  • Ability to build a distinctive brand (emotion + logic) and turn users into advocates
  • Experience repositioning a company or defining a new market space
  • Ability to translate complex technical capabilities (e.g., MCP, headless browsers, AI agents) into clear narratives for both engineers and executives
  • Strong creative and visual fluency to set visual identity standards and brief creative teams
  • Authenticity over corporate speak; transparency and avoidance of empty buzzwords
  • Cross-functional collaboration experience across Content, Design, DevRel, and leadership
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Capacity to balance high-level strategy with hands-on execution in a scale-up environment
