Description

Lead, mentor, and grow a small IT team responsible for internal IT operations—from hardware lifecycle to internal collaboration and productivity tools. Own security, maintenance, and SOC2 compliance, ensuring hardened systems and least-privilege access with regular access audits. Provide hands-on L1/L2 support and help professionalize and automate internal workflows to keep operations stable, secure, and well-documented.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and grow a small team of IT specialists with an operational-excellence and service-oriented mindset
  • Actively participate in daily L1/L2 support and system administration while professionalizing and scaling internal operations
  • Take ownership of internal security and SOC2 compliance (hardening, least-privilege access, regular access-right audits)
  • Maintain and refine IT lifecycle workflows (onboarding/offboarding, hardware provisioning, access management)
  • Manage physical and digital workplace infrastructure (office connectivity, conferencing technology, hardware fleet lifecycle)
  • Improve operational efficiency by removing bottlenecks and implementing pragmatic automation
  • Collaborate with the Ops/Infra team to keep technical and security standards aligned
  • Participate in hiring and onboarding to sustain team performance

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure or system administration
  • At least 2 years in a leadership or senior role
  • Solid Linux experience
  • Player-Coach mindset: comfortable leading while staying hands-on with daily support tickets
  • Hands-on administration experience with Google Workspace, Jira, and GitLab
  • Strong security and compliance awareness (ideally SOC2)
  • Solid understanding of IT operations: asset management, identity management, hardware lifecycle, and office networking
  • Process-oriented approach with strong documentation and standardization capability
  • Service-oriented mindset and excellent communication in Czech and English
  • Strong organization skills and ability to prioritize in a small, fast-paced team
  • Ability to convert manual tasks into automated workflows
