IT InfraOps Site Lead

Summary

The IT InfraOps Site Lead oversees IT infrastructure support services for Chennai plants and offices. The role maintains efficient and secure IT operations, supports local employees’ technical needs, ensures compliance with company policies, and collaborates with the Group IT team.

Responsibilities

• Take full charge of the daily operation, monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting of on-site IT infrastructure.
• Manage on-site office and production IT equipment, including deployment, debugging, maintenance, and asset management.
• Monitor network status, optimize bandwidth, and ensure stable communication for all operations.
• Oversee local deployment and maintenance of OA and security software, providing user support.
• Coordinate with vendors and the IT team to resolve complex infrastructure issues.
• Lead and manage the on-site IT team, developing daily work plans and performance assessments.
• Implement IT security management and standardize operational behaviors.
• Facilitate project coordination and promote IT optimization in work scenarios.

Must Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Network Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of on-site IT operation and maintenance experience, including a minimum of 2 years in a leadership role.
• Proficiency in Windows/Linux client and server management.
• Knowledge of IT asset management and IT security standards.

Nice to Have

• Factory or enterprise site IT management experience.
• Experience coordinating projects with Group IT teams and vendors.
• Good command of English for communication in an international context.

Other Details

• Manage a local IT team.
• Report to Group IT.
• On-site work, 5 days per week.
