Description

You will own the Prague Data Science team, set goals, provide honest structured feedback, and help the team deliver high-quality work. You will lead complex data science and process intelligence projects from idea to delivery, designing scalable solution architectures and translating data into real business decisions and measurable outcomes. You will also manage key operational aspects of team delivery, including capacity planning, resourcing risks, staffing coordination, and keeping project budgets on track.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow the Prague Data Science team and help build up the Prague office

• Act as a role model and set standards for quality and team collaboration

• Use trust-based management: develop team members, set meaningful goals, support onboarding

• Balance project capacity, flag resourcing risks early, coordinate staffing with Munich, and keep project budgets on track

• Design scalable, secure, maintainable solution concepts before implementation

• Apply process mining, AI, and advanced analytics to optimize business processes and generate measurable value

• Bridge technical outputs to business decisions; align client expectations and step in when delivery is tricky

• Identify opportunities for additional account value and contribute to long-term client success

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Data Science, Data Analytics, or Business Intelligence

• Strong hands-on skills across the stack: data engineering, modeling, and front-end delivery (ideally in process intelligence or BI tools)

• Business mindset and ability to apply technical work to business use cases

• Solution-concept thinking for scalable, clean, sustainable architectures

• Confident communicator with clients and senior stakeholders

• Fluent English; comfortable working across a CZ/DE setup
