Description

You will operate and continuously improve network and process control technology and the company’s Operational Technology (OT). You will administer the IT/OT infrastructure, implement planned solutions, troubleshoot incidents, and ensure all work complies with security and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate and further develop network and process control technology and OT for a critical infrastructure (KRITIS) company.
• Administer the IT/OT infrastructure; design future-oriented solutions; plan and independently implement projects.
• Implement software and hardware solutions; perform maintenance and updates.
• Systematically analyze faults/incidents and implement lasting fixes.
• Evaluate all activities against applicable security and compliance requirements.
• Create and maintain technical documentation to support safe and stable operations.

Requirements

• Completed vocational training as a Fachinformatiker/in with relevant professional experience, or an equivalent qualification.
• Experience in some areas such as Active Directory, VMware, IT/OT Security, networking, firewall, PKI, backup, RADIUS, PowerShell, and working with physical servers.
• In-depth knowledge of Windows system environments.
• Ideally experience in process control engineering (Simatic PCS7).
• Flexibility, technical affinity, and strong teamwork.
• Class B driver’s license; living nearby and ability to reach operational sites at short notice during on-call duty.
