UX / Design Engineer (Mid to Senior)

• Two possible directions: client projects (Blue team) or the in-house product for electronic document signing (DigiSign)
• Work style: daily execution is closely embedded with the development team and Product Owner

Description

You’ll design and engineer UX in code—combining discovery and research, analytics-driven decisions, and prototype implementation. Depending on your preference, you’ll either support multiple client projects with direct requirement gathering or take deeper ownership of the DigiSign product discovery/research and prototype delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead UX discovery and research activities
• Define what to measure, run analytics, and use results to justify design decisions
• Independently collect requirements and ask clarifying questions
• Build and iterate UX prototypes in code to support feature delivery
• Formulate and defend UX requirements to product and business stakeholders
• Collaborate directly with development teams and Product Owners for fast iteration and handoff

Requirements

• End-to-end ownership of research activities (not just participation)
• Strong data literacy: know what to measure, how to set up measurement, and how to derive conclusions
• Ability to gather requirements independently and follow up on gaps
• Proactive communication and ability to defend UX decisions with stakeholders
• Ability to take UX work from concept through delivery and developer handoff
• Intermediate+ proficiency in Figma (components, auto-layouts, structure)
• Interest in or willingness to work in code for UX/prototyping
