Description

Support data integration and reporting initiatives across ERP and finance and risk data platforms. The role gathers and analyzes downstream data mart consumer requirements, partners with Lines of Business teams on data mapping, and translates business needs into clear, actionable technical specifications for technology teams. You will also design and deliver complex recurring and ad hoc reports and investigate unexplained variations in reports, data, and systems.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and execute complex recurring and ad hoc reports, analyses, and data/system-related tasks in line with departmental processes and controls
  • Research unexplained variations in reports, data, or systems and explain results to management and stakeholders
  • Develop and administer controls to ensure departmental process integrity; evaluate and recommend improvements
  • Assist with departmental documentation for highly complex and technical activities
  • Act as a consultative resource on risk reporting and data/system-related issues; engage stakeholders to scope solution requirements
  • Lead moderately complex projects with heightened risks, complexity, and resourcing requirements
  • Mentor less experienced teammates

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • 7+ years of related experience or an equivalent education/experience combination
  • Strong specialized and/or broad knowledge within a professional discipline; solid understanding of key business processes and strategies
  • Knowledge of the industry competitive landscape and understanding of market and regulatory factors
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to interpret and explain complex information and build consensus
  • Ability to exercise judgment solving technical, operational, and organizational challenges aligned to business objectives
  • Ability to lead moderately complex projects and mentor less experienced teammates
