Description

Lead and deliver complex coastal engineering projects in coastal, estuarine, and marine environments. Provide senior project management, technical leadership, and coordination across multidisciplinary teams while supporting business development for coastal services. Focus areas include coastal risk, hydrodynamics and morphology, coastal zone management and environmental restoration, and climate resilience/sea level rise impacts.

Responsibilities

  • Lead senior-level project management and leadership for coastal projects across the U.S. and potentially Canada

  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate technical project phases with multidisciplinary teams

  • Prepare scopes of work, fee proposals, project budgets, cost estimates, and schedules

  • Provide construction management and related administrative services

  • Mentor and oversee staff involved in coastal investigations, planning, and design

  • Coordinate with internal and external coastal professionals; communicate clearly and apply best practices

  • Support business development through proposal development and marketing efforts

Requirements

  • Expertise in coastal zone management, resilience planning, and related coastal disciplines

  • Master’s (7+ years) or Bachelor’s (10+ years) degree in Science or Engineering with experience in the listed coastal subject areas

  • Current registration as Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or Science Professional

  • Strong verbal and written communication for client/agency presentations and report preparation

  • Demonstrated project experience through publications and presentations
