Description

Coordinate software development projects end-to-end (including, in the future, international contexts). Ensure transparency and steerability across development initiatives by monitoring progress, actively managing risks, and running escalation management. Maintain status/quality/portfolio oversight, consolidate project reporting, and support offshore development location setup.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end project coordination for software projects: time and cost plans, interface steering, and communication with leads across hard/firmware, software development, Product Management, production, and controlling

• Provide continuous transparency on development projects; monitor progress, manage risks, and handle escalations

• Status, quality, and portfolio management: collect status reports, consolidate project reports, secure quality standards, prioritize and harmonize project and product portfolios

• Steer a developing offshore development site

• Prepare operational coordination meetings and Product Steering Board sessions; moderate them and develop decision and board presentation materials

Requirements

• Completed university degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, or comparable qualification

• PMI certification or equivalent (advantage)

• Demonstrated project management success in software development projects

• Practical experience with multi-project and/or project portfolio management for simultaneous and sequential projects using agile approaches

• Solution-oriented, detail-focused, strategic/analytical/conceptual mindset for implementing project management methods

• Structured and organized working style with proactive attitude and strong social competence

• Precise direct communication in German plus very good English proficiency
