Description

The Senior Project Manager independently leads high-impact, cross-functional pump product development projects, ensuring delivery against scope, schedule, budget, and quality targets. The role provides mentorship to junior project managers and influences how project management practices are shaped and optimized. You will collaborate with executive leadership to align execution with business strategy and represent the organization in external engagements.

Role Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, and commercialization of large-scale, complex pump product development projects
• Manage, mentor, and develop project management teams; drive accountability and high performance
• Act as project management subject matter expert for planning, risk management, stakeholder engagement, and governance
• Develop and oversee project plans, budgets, schedules, resource allocations, and priorities across multiple concurrent projects
• Facilitate collaboration across engineering, manufacturing, quality, marketing, supply chain, customers, and external partners
• Proactively identify and mitigate risks/issues/bottlenecks; escalate critical matters to senior leadership
• Drive governance activities including design reviews, gate reviews, executive reporting, key decision forums, and post-launch evaluations
• Improve project management processes, tools, and methodologies; engage with customers and industry forums

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Project Management, or related field
• Significant experience leading complex product development projects in a manufacturing environment
• Experience managing project teams and cross-functional stakeholders
• Strong knowledge of project management principles, budgeting, scheduling, and risk management
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• PMP or equivalent certification is an advantage
• Fully site based with flexible/hybrid model; up to 50% home office
