Description

You will join the infrastructure team and work on IT projects and modern technologies in a healthcare environment. The role combines hands-on system administration (servers, backups, monitoring) with support for clinical applications and ongoing improvements to SQL Server and IT processes. You will also contribute to IT security strategy development and participate in on-call duty.

Responsibilities

• Install, administer, and provide IT support for clinical applications

• Plan, structure, and implement IT projects

• Administer server and backup infrastructure

• Monitor IT systems and applications and detect issues early

• Administer, maintain, and optimize Microsoft SQL Server databases

• Support standardization and automation of IT processes

• Participate in the rollout of new systems and technologies

• Analyze and resolve incidents in a 2nd/3rd level support environment

• Contribute to the further development of the IT security strategy

• Coordinate external service providers

• Participate in on-call (Rufbereitschaft)

Requirements

• Completed (technical) degree or IT apprenticeship, or comparable qualification with several years of experience

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft products (Server, Active Directory, SQL Server, Exchange)

• Experience with VMware and Citrix

• Project management experience

• Routine experience with Microsoft Cloud products

• Ideally: experience with Linux operating systems or telematics infrastructure

• Analytical, methodical, and independent working style

• Fluent German (written and spoken) and good English skills
