Description

Operate, maintain, and continuously improve the existing IT environment with a strong emphasis on infrastructure, networking, and IT security. You will plan and implement IT projects, ensure security through measures such as IAM, network segmentation, and incident response, and support day-to-day IT operations including endpoint management and end-user support. You will also document complex topics transparently for knowledge management and provide technical guidance to business teams and international locations.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and implement IT projects, especially in infrastructure and network
  • Operate, maintain, and continuously develop the current IT environment
  • Ensure IT security including vulnerability and risk management (e.g., IAM, network segmentation, incident response)
  • Identify and implement automation opportunities in ongoing operations
  • Support daily IT tasks (endpoint management, employee lifecycle, end-user support)
  • Provide technical consulting and support for business teams as well as international locations

Requirements

  • Multi-year experience administering IT systems and delivering IT projects in an IT environment
  • Very strong knowledge of hybrid Microsoft 365 environments (Entra ID, Exchange Online, Office suite)
  • Proven experience with Microsoft Windows Server and client systems, and hyper-converged virtualization platforms (Hyper-V)
  • Good knowledge of network architecture, modern networking technologies, storage solutions (on-premise and cloud), and backup/recovery management
  • Basic knowledge of VoIP PBX systems, Linux (including Docker), and application administration
  • Independent, efficient, and structured working style plus excellent communication skills
  • Ability to document complex topics clearly and understandably in knowledge management
  • Very good German and English skills at C1 level
