Description

You will administer information and telecommunications systems, define and implement security mechanisms (especially access options), and handle onboarding of hardware/software changes. The role includes systematic troubleshooting and maintenance, performing backups and maintenance tasks, and monitoring system availability and information security.

Responsibilities

• Administer information and telecommunications systems

• Define and implement security mechanisms, especially access options

• Adapt and commission hardware and software components in existing systems

• Perform systematic error analysis and resolution; initiate maintenance

• Run data backups and maintenance tasks

• Obtain and compare offers for IT products and services

• Monitor system availability and information security

Requirements

• Multi-year experience as a Specialist for System Integration (Fachinformatiker Systemintegration) or in a comparable position

• Strong knowledge of networking: firewalls, routing, switching, VLANs

• Proficiency with Windows Server operating systems

• Experience with Microsoft Server services: Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, Certification Authority

• Experience with server virtualization

• Knowledge of backup technologies

• Experience with Office 365

• First experience with version control systems, Linux Server operating systems, cloud platforms/hyperscalers, Infrastructure as Code, and automation/scripting

• Analytical and logical thinking

• Solution-oriented and independent working style

• Strong understanding, good organizational skills, excellent communication and teamwork

• Strong interest in information technology
