Description

You will manage and administer centralized Windows workplaces and an on-prem server landscape, including centralized software distribution, evaluation of new software, and update management. You will monitor the IT infrastructure, assess CVE events, and implement appropriate measures independently. You will plan, document, and develop IT projects and infrastructure end-to-end, driving improvements in security, stability, and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Administer centralized Windows workstations and the on-prem server environment

• Distribute and manage centralized software; evaluate new software; own update management

• Monitor IT infrastructure, evaluate CVE events, and implement remediation measures

• Plan, document, and develop IT projects and infrastructure from start to ongoing support

• Actively improve internal IT security, stability, and efficiency

Requirements

• Fachinformatiker for System Integration with more than 5 years of operational IT administration experience

• Very good Windows client/server administration skills (Windows 10/11, Server 2016 and newer) and PowerShell automation

• Experience with Active Directory On-Prem, GPO, filesystems, and CA

• Good CLI administration knowledge for Debian-based servers

• Experience with virtualization platforms (VMware ESXi or Proxmox) and network components

• Strong security awareness and understanding of the impact of changes in a corporate infrastructure

• Thorough troubleshooting approach and accountability for systems and projects (planning through implementation to ongoing support)

• Self-driven continuous learning and genuine interest in IT
