Description

As a Network Systems Engineer, you support customers in consulting discussions to identify current challenges, translate them into concrete requirements, and develop tailored solution strategies. You implement network architectures for Core, Edge and WLAN and solutions for NAC and ZTNA, from consultation through handover and customer onboarding. You also prepare and conduct on-site workshops to ensure your network expertise and efficiency remain effective after deployment.

Responsibilities

• Gather requirements in customer consultations where network infrastructure is central
• Co-create solution strategies with customers and teammates
• Contribute to architecture and security concept development and implementation using HPE Networking, Cisco and Lancom
• Implement solutions in projects centered on Core, Edge, WLAN, plus NAC and ZTNA
• Deliver final handover and provide instruction/training to the customer
• Prepare and run workshops on-site to preserve know-how and maximize efficiency

Requirements

• Completed training as a Fachinformatiker (ideally with several years of experience in network or systems administration) OR a degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Computer Science or a related IT field
• Practical experience handling network infrastructure components (preferred)
• Customer- and solution-oriented attitude
• Very good German and English proficiency (written and spoken)
• Strong commitment and team spirit; ability and willingness to engage deeply with customer challenges
• Vendor certifications are desirable but not required
