Description

You will take overall responsibility for the group-wide IT strategy in close coordination with executive management. The role combines technical leadership with operational ownership: ensuring secure, scalable IT operations while driving digitization opportunities and leading IT projects.

Responsibilities

  • Own and implement group-wide IT strategy, IT infrastructure & applications, and IT security & data protection
  • Lead the IT team (technical and disciplinary), motivate, and develop team structures
  • Manage IT budget, resources, and investment decisions
  • Ensure stable, secure, and scalable IT operations (servers, network, cloud, workstations) including availability, performance, and scalability
  • Select, roll out, and continuously improve IT systems and tools
  • Manage agency software solutions (e.g., Adobe CC, project management, collaboration, CRM)
  • Implement and evolve IT security and backup concepts; ensure GDPR-compliant handling of data
  • Work with data protection officers and external service providers
  • Coordinate and implement IT projects; act as interface between business units, management, and external partners
  • Translate business requirements into technical solutions and coordinate external IT providers
  • Handle budget, license, and contract management
  • Build and optimize IT processes and support structures

Requirements

  • Completed degree in an IT field or comparable qualification
  • Multiple years of experience in a generalist IT role
  • Experience in project management and digitizing business processes
  • Knowledge of IT security and data protection (GDPR/DSGVO)
  • Knowledge of software and database development (MSSQL)
  • Strong communication skills and service-oriented working style
  • Understanding of creative and commercial business processes
