Description

Implement, configure, and maintain Microsoft Windows Servers, MS Exchange, and related infrastructure services in medium-sized client and network management environments. Maintain and optimize system environments, manage Active Directory and GPO structures, and ensure smooth 2nd/3rd level operations. Plan and execute changes, run vulnerability scans, analyze monitoring alerts, troubleshoot proactively, and keep operational/process/system documentation current.

Responsibilities

  • Implement, configure, and maintain Windows Server, Exchange, and additional infrastructure services (e.g., Veeam backup, Trend Micro)

  • Maintain, develop, optimize, and document system environments

  • Administer Active Directory and GPO structures

  • Ensure reliable operation of the IT infrastructure in the Microsoft environment, including 2nd/3rd level ticket handling

  • Plan, prepare, and conduct changes

  • Perform small independent tasks or work in teams on projects in medium-sized environments

  • Run regular vulnerability scans across the entire IT infrastructure (analyze, assess, recommend, remediate)

  • Analyze monitoring alerts and perform proactive error resolution

  • Create and maintain operational, process, and system documentation

  • Perform patch and update management (analyze, assess, recommend, remediate)

Requirements

  • Training as IT specialist for systems integration or an IT degree or comparable qualification

  • Experience installing and configuring on-prem Microsoft components: Windows Server (2012 R2 and newer), Exchange Server, SQL Server, Active Directory

  • Experience with infrastructure services: ADFS, DHCP, DNS, NTP, Radius, IIS, SMB, SNMP

  • Optional: experience with Microsoft cloud services

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., MCSA Windows Server 2016 or higher; Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert)
