Description

Install, configure, and parametrize Windows Servers and virtual environments. Ensure continuous operational readiness for the Windows Server systems and the applications running on them, including availability in complex and critical customer environments. Automate and optimize standard processes with scripting (e.g., PowerShell) and support incident resolution in coordination with manufacturers.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and parametrize Windows servers and virtual environments

• Ensure ongoing operational readiness of the responsible Windows servers and hosted applications

• Contribute to the creation, evolution, and implementation of innovative operating concepts

• Automate and optimize standard processes using scripting (e.g., PowerShell)

• Ensure availability in complex and critical customer environments

• Coordinate and ensure troubleshooting/incident resolution with involvement of manufacturers

Requirements

• Completed training as a Fachinformatiker, Informatikkaufmann, or comparable experience

• Experience with server applications and infrastructure solutions

• Knowledge of enterprise storage

• Ideally, relevant certifications

• Strong service orientation; enjoy communicating in a team and with customers

• Good communication skills in German and English (spoken and written)
