Description

You will administer and continuously ensure the fault-free operation of partially highly available customer environments. The role includes managing Microsoft 365 services (Tenant, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, Intune, Azure AD/Entra ID), maintaining M365 security and compliance policies, and supporting 2nd/3rd level Microsoft 365 topics. You will also drive health checks and migrations (e.g., Exchange to M365, on-prem AD to Entra ID) and contribute to service and project development.

Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth operation of customer M365 environments
• Administer Microsoft 365 services (Tenant, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, Intune, Azure AD/Entra ID)
• Maintain and implement M365 Security & Compliance policies
• Support managed services customer environments
• Conduct health checks and implement migrations (Exchange to M365, on-prem AD to Entra ID)
• Support the service desk team in 2nd/3rd level support for Microsoft 365 topics
• Contribute to further development of services for SMEs and enterprise customers
• Support PreSales service management
• Participate in diverse IT projects and take ownership of sub-projects

Requirements

• Completed IT-focused training (or relevant career switch with practical experience)
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft 365, and Microsoft Azure including service design
• Experience with hybrid environments using modern technologies
• Solid knowledge of virtualized IT operations, cloud, and networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SMTP)
• Experience with PowerShell automation
• Good knowledge of IT security in the M365 environment (Conditional Access, MFA, Compliance)
• High teamwork, initiative, and reliability
• Independent, structured working approach and strong service mindset
• Very good German skills (spoken and written)
