Description

You will design, configure, and continuously improve customer IT-security solutions with a focus on SIEM content engineering. Develop and maintain detection scenarios, analyze SIEM/XDR events and alerts, and support customers in specifying solutions and protection objectives. You’ll also create and optimize technical content, documentation, and training materials, while coaching teams and contributing to new projects and business planning.

Responsibilities

  • Concept, configuration, and further development of IT-security solutions for customers

  • Development and maintenance of detection scenarios in SIEM systems (content engineering)

  • Analyze events and alarms from SIEM or XDR systems

  • Advise customers on solution specification and the creation of comprehensive solution documents (including detection scenarios and security objectives)

  • Develop and optimize technical content, documentation, and training material

  • Coach and provide subject-matter leadership for employees and teams

  • Acquire and develop new projects

  • Contribute security expertise to sales processes, strategy development, and business plans

  • Continuous training and expansion of cyber security expertise

Requirements

  • Master’s or diploma degree with relevant work experience or comparable knowledge and skills

  • Minimum 7 years of professional experience in IT security, including multiple years in threat detection and/or content engineering (or similar)

  • Strong knowledge of attack techniques and defensive measures in cybersecurity

  • Experience with SIEM and/or XDR systems (e.g., Palo Alto, Elastic, Splunk)

  • Incident handling or forensics certifications are an advantage

  • Strong analytical skills and a structured working style

  • Ability to prepare and communicate complex technical content clearly

  • Strategic thinking with experience in customer consulting and business plan development

  • Strong personal interest in IT security and independent acquisition of new knowledge

  • Very high flexibility, resilience, and performance readiness

  • Excellent German and English skills (written and spoken)
