Description

Design and maintain IT applications for risk management and regulatory reporting, enabling risks to be measured, monitored, controlled, and reported. Analyze banking-related issues with department colleagues and advise on technological implementation options in the bank’s data warehouse environment. Implement customized, innovative IT solutions and contribute to a stable, secure, high-performance system landscape.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain IT applications for risk management and regulatory reporting

• Analyze banking-related issues and advise on technical implementation in the data warehouse environment

• Implement customized, innovative IT solutions

• Participate in IT projects and, after initial experience, manage smaller projects

Requirements

• Degree in (applied/practical) computer science, business informatics, or comparable qualification

• Several years of professional experience in IT or data environments

• In-depth experience in software and data architecture; comfortable with complex data models and system landscapes

• Very good knowledge of SQL and relational database systems

• Experience with shell scripting using Bash

• Responsible for conceptual evaluation of ETL processes

• Strong analytical and conceptual thinking; interest in economic and regulatory topics; drive for process improvements

• Very good German and English language skills
