Description

You will design and implement customer-tailored server, network, and video systems and ensure they are protected by appropriate security solutions. You will also plan work packages, monitor systems, handle support and maintenance, and provide technical guidance for proposals. You will create and maintain technical documentation and instructions for the supported systems.

Responsibilities

• Concept and realize server, network, and video systems tailored to customer needs

• Implement and monitor security solutions to protect customer data and networks

• Develop specifications (Pflichtenheft), create schedules, and distribute defined work packages

• Maintain and support IT infrastructures, detect issues early, and resolve incidents

• Instruct, manage, and supervise technically subordinate employees, trainees, subcontractors, and suppliers

• Advise on technical questions related to proposal creation and implementation options

• Create and maintain technical documentation and guides for supported systems

Requirements

• Completed technical vocational training or a comparable technical degree

• Solid knowledge of Windows server administration

• Solid knowledge of networking (LAN, WAN, VPN) and common security solutions

• Experience with IT security standards and best practices for securing systems and applications

• Independent, solution-oriented work style with analytical assessment skills

• Customer-oriented, responsible communication and strong teamwork mindset

• Interest in continuous improvement and bringing innovations into the team

• Near-native German and good English skills in speaking and writing
