Description

You will help design and build long-lasting, high-quality software in an agile environment with cross-functional teams. The role emphasizes architecture and system thinking, critical understanding of existing code, and responsible use of AI-assisted development tools for efficient delivery. Communication in both German and English (C1) is required to explain complex technical topics to teams and customers.

Responsibilities

  • Own and deliver complex software projects with a team of highly qualified engineers and product stakeholders
  • Contribute to concepting and realizing versatile software solutions with customers
  • Work in agile processes (Daily Scrums, customer reviews, retrospectives with Agile Coaches)
  • Implement durable software architectures iteratively and incrementally
  • Apply DevOps methods to deliver value fast and collect user feedback
  • Introduce new and stable technologies where they fit
  • Work self-organized within the project team and actively shape engineering practices

Requirements

  • ~5 years practical experience in software development
  • Very good German and English skills (minimum C1)
  • Experience with AI for software engineering and responsible use of tools such as Claude Code, OpenCode, or GitHub Copilot
  • Strong architecture and system thinking, with evaluation of maintainability, operations, and cost
  • Deep understanding of high-quality code and ability to analyze existing codebases
  • Collaborative mindset and active knowledge sharing
  • Growth mindset and openness to learning beyond comfort zones
