Description

You will take ownership of implementing challenging, high-quality software projects in interdisciplinary teams. The role involves designing long-lived software architectures and delivering iteratively within an agile process. You will also use AI-assisted development tools responsibly (e.g., Claude Code, OpenCode, GitHub Copilot) and communicate complex technical topics appropriately to teams, customers, and partners.

Responsibilities

  • Own successful delivery of complex software projects
  • Conceive and implement versatile software solutions together with customers
  • Work agile: daily scrums, customer reviews, retrospectives supported by agile coaches
  • Implement durable architectures iteratively and incrementally
  • Use DevOps methods to deliver value faster and collect feedback
  • Introduce new, stable technologies where they fit the context
  • Collaborate self-organized within your project team and contribute to the organization
  • Share knowledge actively across teams

Requirements

  • About 5 years of practical software development experience
  • Ability to take responsibility for demanding software delivery
  • AI for software engineering experience and responsible use of AI coding tools (Claude Code, OpenCode, GitHub Copilot)
  • German and English proficiency at at least C1
  • Architecture & system thinking skills (architecture, maintainability, operations, cost)
  • Strong code understanding; ability to quickly ramp up in existing codebases and critically evaluate human- and AI-generated code
  • Growth mindset and willingness to learn beyond your comfort zone
