Description

You support Berlin schools in reliably operating their IT infrastructure, solving problems sustainably, and continuously improving systems. You diagnose incidents, install and configure hardware and software, and provide clear day-to-day user support. You also manage user administration, document systems, and support rollouts and relocations.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain existing IT infrastructures

• Resolve incidents, analyze issues, and find pragmatic solutions

• Install and configure hardware and software

• Support users in day-to-day work and advise them clearly

• Handle user administration and IT operations

• Document systems and keep an overview (e.g., inventory)

• Plan and accompany rollouts and moves

• Implement new IT projects together with the facilities

Requirements

• Completed IT training or comparable, proven experience in IT

• Experience with on-site support

• Independent, structured working style and proactive thinking

• Strong knowledge of server, network, and client environments

• Experience in IT operations and user administration

• Practical network engineering experience (switches, IP infrastructure, cabling, patching)

• Very good German (written and spoken)
