Description

You will have disciplinary, technical, and economic responsibility for an IT engineering domain and lead its operational and strategic development. The role includes planning and managing services and operations for test equipment (e.g., hardware testers, HIL test benches, SIL tests) and advancing standards for IT operations in Automotive and Defence. You will also develop the customer and project pipeline, including expanding existing projects and acquiring new Defence projects.

Responsibilities

  • Provide disciplinary, technical, and financial leadership for the domain

  • Lead and develop personnel; plan and conduct personnel discussions and development measures

  • Steer the domain based on business considerations (budget, forecasts, measures planning/implementation)

  • Continuously develop operations and strategy, especially test data management for planning and operating HIL/SIL, testracks, and related IT service offerings

  • Define and optimize IT operations standards and requirements for Automotive and Defence

  • Expand the customer and order base, including growth of existing projects and acquisition of new Defence projects

Requirements

  • Master’s or diploma degree or equivalent professional experience

  • Relevant experience and industry knowledge from the Automotive industry and the Defence sector

  • Knowledge in planning and managing service and operations for test equipment (hardware testers, HIL test benches, SIL tests)

  • Military domain experience is preferred

  • Strong customer orientation and entrepreneurial approach; ability to present and market to technical decision-makers

  • Experience in selling complex service models

  • Very strong willingness to travel, particularly within Germany

  • Fluent German and secure English skills in written and spoken communication
