Description

Develop software solutions for the public sector, especially for Bundeswehr, BWI, BAIINBw, NATO, and security authorities. Contribute to frontend, backend, fullstack, or DevOps development based on your profile, using modern technologies to deliver stable, secure, and maintainable software. Participate in design reviews and code reviews while applying security, privacy, and compliance requirements in regulated environments.

Responsibilities

  • Implement projects using modern technologies and provide stable, secure, and maintainable software

  • Work on frontend-, backend-, fullstack-, or DevOps tasks depending on profile

  • Support design reviews and code reviews

  • Ensure project-specific security, privacy, and compliance requirements are met

  • Collaborate in cross-functional teams using agile methods (Scrum/Kanban), take ownership of your topics, and actively share knowledge

Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science or Business Informatics; or completed IT apprenticeship; or non-related qualification plus at least five years of relevant professional software development experience

  • Proven experience in environments such as security authorities, Bundeswehr, NATO, BWI, or similar with increased security requirements (projects, programs, or operations)

  • Backend experience with Python/FastAPI/Django, Java/EE/Spring, or Rust

  • Frontend experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and React/Angular and/or DevOps experience with Kubernetes, GitLab CI, ArgoCD, Helm, and Infrastructure-as-Code

  • Independent working style in security-critical domains plus teamwork and strong communication

  • Confident use of AI tools in the domain and critical evaluation of results

  • Very good German and good English skills
