Description

You will manage and coordinate all test-relevant activities in SAP projects and product development. The role also includes building and strategically steering test automation, as well as creating and maintaining test concepts, test strategies, and testing documentation aligned with project goals, risks, and dependencies. You will provide status, progress, and completion reporting and proactively handle risks with clear recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and monitor test-relevant activities across SAP projects and product development

• Build, further develop, and strategically control test automation

• Create and maintain test concepts, test strategies, and test documentation; adapt them to project objectives, risks, and dependencies

• Plan resources for all test phases and steer test execution on the professional level

• Prepare status, progress, and completion reports for project leadership and relevant stakeholders

• Actively track risks and provide clear recommendations for corrective actions when deviations occur

• Serve as an interface between the business department, product management, and other project stakeholders

Requirements

• Degree in (Business) Informatics or IT training with relevant further education (e.g., ISTQB)

• Several years of experience in IT test management (e.g., Test Manager, Test Lead, or quality responsibility in projects)

• Experience creating test concepts and defining test strategies

• Solid understanding of test methods, test automation, and modern test frameworks

• Knowledge of SAP Solution Manager and Tricentis Tosca is an advantage

• Excellent German language skills (written and spoken) and clear communication

• Decisiveness and structured, solution-oriented approach, including under time pressure

• Analytical thinking and continuous improvement mindset
